What to expect
If you are a seasoned remodeling veteran, you already know what to expect. If you have not lived through a remodeling project though, you probably have some degree of anxiety. We don’t want to create apprehension before your project starts, but rather point out some of the challenges that naturally occur in the course of most remodeling projects.
Your normal routine will be disrupted. The Marrokal team does our utmost to make the experience as pleasant as possible, but there will be times when your daily routine will be disrupted just by having workmen around your home. Just remember to budget some extra money for rest and relaxation. Take a few day trips to get away. Go to dinner or visit a friend in the evening. And at least once a day, think about how great everything will look when it’s done!
Dust. No matter how well we seal off the work area, dust is going to get through. This is one of the more unpleasant but unavoidable aspects of remodeling. Marrokal is known for keeping our work areas clean and as dust-free as possible and will do everything we can to ensure your comfort.
One positive thing you can always look forward to is the peace of mind that comes from working with Marrokal Design & Remodeling. We respect the privacy of your family, the safety of your pets and the security of your home during all phases of your remodel. As a follow up, your design consultant will schedule a visit to your home within a week or two of when the work is completed to make sure all of your needs have been met.
