This home was originally purchased in rough shape with the vision of a complete remodel. We began by removing a poorly executed rear addition that housed the existing kitchen. In its place, we constructed a new, thoughtfully designed addition that now includes a spacious kitchen, a light-filled dining room, a modern bathroom, and a functional laundry room.
To enhance the flow of the home, we opened up the new kitchen and dining area to the existing family room, creating a seamless connection to both the interior living space and the backyard. Two outdated hall bathrooms were reconfigured into a single, more functional and luxurious primary bath.
A deteriorating fireplace was replaced with a sleek, two-sided design that now serves both the family and living rooms, adding warmth and style to each space. We also undertook a full exterior transformation—redesigning the front and back yards, installing a new roof, replacing all exterior doors and windows, and softening the front elevation by reworking the hip rooflines.
Inside, every floor was replaced to tie together the updated aesthetic.
One of the project’s biggest challenges was supporting an upstairs room while constructing the new addition below it. Careful structural planning allowed us to complete this complex phase without compromising the integrity of the home.
