 Marrokal Design and Remodeling Wins 5 Awards for Remodeling Excellence
|
Continuing to set new standards of professionalism, 81 remodeling companies from across the United States were named winners at the eighteenth annual Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence. The winning projects were selected from over 400 entries. The entries were judged on overall design, the creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
The five 2011 Chrysalis Awards won by Marrokal Design and Remodeling were:
Western Region Best Bath
Western Region Best Residential Interior
Western Region Whole House Remodel
Western Region Historic Renovation
National Outdoor Living

The Chrysalis Awards program, begun in 1994, recognizes the nation’s best work in sixteen general categories of residential and commercial remodeling. New Law Regarding Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Home Inspectors will start checking for CO detectors after passage of new Disclosure Laws
California Senate Bill 183 was signed into law to regulate the installation of Carbon Monoxide detectors. The law is a two-part law that requires an update to the Transfer Disclosure Statements used in a real estate transaction, and puts into law the Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Prevention Act of 2010.
2011 ASID Design Excellence Awards
The San Diego chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) recently recognized outstanding design with its 2011 Design Excellence Awards.
