The confined and underutilized kitchen in this 5th floor condo was transformed to include an island with breakfast table and now allows for open communication between the kitchen and living room. A full size pantry was made from the space originally occupied by an entry closet and the reclaimed wood used for its barn-style doors was used throughout the condo. The finished product is a culmination of textures, colors, surfaces and heights. As a finishing touch, the carpet was removed and new porcelain wood planks were installed to add to the feeling of an industrial loft.
