Marrokal's Director of Design has degrees in both Interior Design and is a Professional member of A.S.I.D. (American Society of Interior Designers). He also holds a Master of Architecture degree. Team Bios

	Steve Walton Senior Design Consultant CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Steve is a graduate with high honors from UC Berkeley with a BA in Architecture and a minor in structural engineering, Steve is also a member of the (ASID) Chapter in San Diego . He has been professionally redesigning homes for more than twenty years and he has enjoyed a very successful professional career with Marrokal Construction Company since January of 1998 having designed more than 320 projects across San Diego County . Since 1995, Steve has been published in Northern California Home and Garden, San Diego Home and Garden, San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego , Magazine, Woman's Day and remodeling magazines and recognized in the remodeling industry for his creativity and high standards of excellence. In 2005 and 2006, five of Steve's remodels won the National Chrysalis Award for Best Project in the Whole House, Kitchen, and Bath categories for remodels valued between $100,000 and more than $500,000; two Master Design Awards (sponsored by Qualified Remodeler Magazine) for Whole House Remodels less than $200,000 and more than $500,000; locally, in 2006 and 2007, Steve took home two American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.) 	Jim Dyjak Senior Design Consultant CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Jim Dyjak has been with Marrokal Construction since 1998, and has 17 years experience in residential remodeling design, Jim has received numerous national design awards; many of his projects have been published in San Diego Home and Garden, The San Diego Union Tribune and a variety of trade publications. Jim truly enjoys working with people and creating relationships. Helping clients design and achieve their dreams and desires for their living environment is what Jim loves most. 	Mike Centrullo Design Consultant CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Mike has been in the building and construction industry since 1981, with experience in masonry, framing and electric design and installation. Mike was an electrical contractor for 14 years, working with Marrokal Construction for much of that time. He joined the Marrokal Construction Design Team in 2003. "Mike is incredible. 	Gary Kirkpatrick, CGR Design Consultant CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Gary has been designing & renovating homes professionally for over 10 years and joined the Marrokal design team in 2004. Gary has earned the CGR status (Certified Graduate Remodelor) awarded by the Remodelor's Council and National Association of Homebuilders. He is a member of NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) and attends educational classes & courses regularly as his commitment to his profession. Gary enjoys the relationships that develop from working with his clients. Gary 's clients appreciate his ability to listen, communicate and follow through as a part of his overall design skills. Gary 's projects have been published in local and National magazines including *Best Residential Single Space* , A.S.I.D. San Diego "2007 Design Excellence Awards". 	Steven Mark Design Consultant CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Steven joined the Marrokal Construction Design team in 2005. Steven is experienced in all facets of the construction industry. Steven started out as a carpenter; he then worked as a project manager and learned just what it takes to bring good design into fruition. During his coursework at U.C. Berkeley Steven discovered his passion was design & Architecture. He graduated from Berkeley with honors, and obtained his General Building Contractor's License. After more than a decade of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, Steven relocated to San Diego where his projects have been featured on the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) home and kitchen tours, have won design awards, and have been published in the San Diego Union Tribune & San Diego Home & Garden Magazine . Steven is committed to constantly studying state-of-the-art building techniques, green building practices, and cutting edge advancements, as to offer his clients the most current 'design / build' options the industry has available. 	Ken Suffridge Design Consultant CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) With over 25 years experience in the construction and design/build industries, Ken enjoys serving his clients throughout the entire design/build process, from the initial consultation and design to the final project walk-through, when their vision has become a reality. Along with the Marrokal team, Ken is available to his clients throughout every phase of their home remodel, to help ensure that their projects are successfully completed as promised. After more than a decade of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, Steven relocated to San Diego where his projects have been featured on the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) home and kitchen tours, have won design awards, and have been published in the San Diego Union Tribune & San Diego Home & Garden Magazine . 	John Davies Director of Design CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) John graduated at the top of his class with a B.F.A. in Interior Design, followed by a Master of Architecture degree including dual minors in art and design and urban planning. John has architecture and design in his blood and is the son of a noted Pasadena architect and college professor. John holds full professional membership in ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), is a member of ASAI (American Society of Architectural Illustrators) and SOHO (Save Our Heritage Organization). John has amassed course work in Pasadena , San Diego , and post graduate study in Paris , France . John's direction and close involvement with the Marrokal Construction design team has lead to three first place ASID Design Excellence Awards and top honors in multiple local, regional, and national design award competitions and publications. John Volunteers and is very active in community service with students of Interior Design and Architecture, as well as in the areas of animal protection and recovery programs. John has lead instructional course work at the Design Institute of San Diego and the Newschool of Architecture's architectural and design program in Paris , France (1999 and 2000). John's passion lies in residential design, architecture and illustration. As well as being directly involved in the design of your project, John leads the Interior Design staff in assisting you with material and product selection for your new home. 	Tim P. Jones, AIA Project Architect CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Tim joined the Marrokal Design Team in 2007 as our Project Architect. Tim has been in the design industry since 1977. Concentrating primarily on residential projects; room additions, remodels, custom homes & multi-unit design, he has 22 years of design & land planning experience. In 1993 he completed his testing and was granted a license to practice architecture in the State of California , #C-24012, and is an Architect Member of the AIA (American Institute of Architects). Over the course of his career, he also spent 8 years working for the City of San Diego , gaining invaluable experience with the entire Building Review & Permit process. Tim is an excellent problem solver, and is ready to assist you in finding unique design solutions for your next project.

	D. Scott Hall Project Designer CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Scott Hall has been designing homes since 1974 and has had a relationship with Marrokal Construction Company since 1997. There is always a "need" behind a remodel and Scott enjoys the challenge of finding creative ways to meet those needs. " .Scott has imposing talent; he resolved effortlessly and magically the considerable challenges presented by an old Kensington house like mine. His design has proven to be sound both structurally and aesthetically, down to the last corbel." - Katharine Sandstrom

	Skip Reichenberg Project Design Manager CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) Skip graduated as Valedictorian of the Newschool of Architecture and Design, San Diego , with a B.A. in Architecture and has an Associates degree in Architecture Sciences. Skip has been designing in the construction and building industry since 1985 and is now a proud member of the Marrokal Construction Design Team since June, 2005. Skip prepares detailed design and construction documents for our clients and for submittal to the various municipalities. "My goal is to help the client realize their dreams through the Marrokal Construction design process and provide the necessary documents to make those dreams come true."

	Jorge Segoviano Project Design Manager Jorge joined the Marrokal design team in 2007. He has been designing in the construction & building industry since 2000. Jorge has an associates degree in Architecture Sciences and has recently completed his eligibility requirements to take the licensure examination by the California Architects Board (CAB). He enjoys working within a team environment and has become an excellent addition to our design center staff.

	David McKinney Hall Designer / Draftsman CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) David Hall joined the Marrokal Design Team in 2003. David's talent runs in the family. He's the third generation of Designer / Draftsman and the second of his family with the Marrokal Design team (see D. Scott Hall- David's father). David prepares detailed construction documents for our client's projects. David is part of the team which will assess the existing conditions of your home and assists in the transformation which you direct. David has hands-on experience in the construction field which benefits current and future projects.

	April Worrell, Interior Designer - Since 2006 CGBP (Certified Green Building Professional) April will guide you through the product selection phase of your project and assist you in visualizing your dream. Her trained eye will assist you in putting together a palette of materials and finishing touches to make your remodel a masterpiece.

	Celeste Roberts, Interior Designer Celeste holds a BFA in Interior Design from Design Institute of San Diego and has over 8 years experience in both residential and commercial interior design. She specializes in model home merchandising for luxury builders and has won countless industry design awards throughout the years. As such she specializes with product selection for all aspects of a home with an emphasis on kitchen and bath specifications. She also has experience designing custom millwork such as built-ins, wall & ceiling treatments. Her clients and co-workers alike respond to her lively personality and open communication style. She is a high-level problem solver with a terrific sense of creativity and humor. In her personal life, Celeste is an accomplished mixed media artist having held gallery showings and exhibitions throughout San Diego. Her artistic abilities include charitable event design and curatorial capabilities as well.
